Dr. Abhijit S. Shah is a highly accomplished and internationally trained Consultant Urologist, Uro-Oncologist and Transplant Surgeon, known for his expertise in managing complex urological conditions with precision and advanced surgical techniques.
He completed his M.Ch in Urology from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, along with MS in General Surgery from Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. His training at these premier institutions has provided him with a strong academic foundation and extensive clinical exposure.
He has been awarded multiple Travelling Fellowships by the Urology Society of India and has also completed short-term fellowships at Mt. Sinai, New York and Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon in Robotic Uro-Oncosurgery. He has received multiple awards for presentations and has a strong academic inclination with more than 20 high-impact publications.
He is also highly experienced in reconstructive urology, laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures, Male Sexual Health, including Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Infertility and pediatric urology.
Dr. Shah’s core expertise includes endourology for kidney stones and urinary flow disorders, prostate surgeries (TURP & laser), kidney transplantation, AV fistula creation for dialysis and uro-oncology, where he treats cancers of the kidney, prostate, bladder and genital organs.
With hands-on experience in a wide range of procedures including PCNL, RIRS, URSL, TURP, nephrectomy, urethroplasty and complex oncological surgeries, Dr. Shah is well-versed in both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has also been actively involved in kidney transplant procedures, female urology surgeries and emergency urological interventions.
